I loved stepping out to find amazing eateries and an awesome coffee shop just a few steps away. Wandering to nearby landmarks like the Paul Bunyan Statue and the University Maine Museum of Art without breaking a sweat was such a treat for my weekend city strolls. The staff were friendly, and they upgraded my room, making for a comfortable stay after a long day of exploring, although the hotel could benefit from a bit of upkeep since it feels old and run down in some areas.

The location is prime, with a variety of bars and restaurants just steps away. However, the room was unusually small, and the lack of a phone made the hotel's security warnings feel odd. Hearing noise from the alley below was disruptive, and despite the friendly staff, the absence of some basic amenities was noticeable.
